The Minutia Enhancement Detail is our most popular detailing package and has been designed specifically for those who regularly visit hand carwashes, those whose cars are used every day and for cars taken in and out of storage where ‘storage marks’ from covers and dust have caused damage.

It is a two-stage machine polish using the best machine polishers on the market, rotary or Dual action.

Light oxidation along with moderate swirls, holograms and marring will be removed leaving a high gloss finish with sharper reflections, depth and clarity to the vehicle’s paintwork.

This is ideal for preparing a car for sale or for dramatically improving the look and feel of your existing car.

It is achieved by selecting a pad and product combination to suit the vehicle and its paint, offering a high level of correction as well as a level of refinement ensuring a much glossier, sharper finish.

The Minutia Enhancement Detail:

  1. 1. Inspection & analysis

    After we measure the paint with state-of-the-art equipment to determine its thickness and condition, a perfect pad and polish combination is selected to give the car a good level of correction and refinement using the least aggressive methods possible

  2. 2. Two-stage machine polish

    The selected combination of pads and polish are now employed and we will use various sizes of machines and pads to cover all areas of the car. First a compound polish is applied and then a finishing polish. Delicate areas are masked off and covered to ensure a perfect finish

  3. 3. IPA wipedown

    After the polishing process, we administer an IPA (isopropyl alcohol) wipedown to remove any lingering surface oil and/or residue allowing the protection coat to adhere to the vehicle’s surface properly. This gives the car a glossier, sharper finish with greater depth and clarity of colour

  4. 4. Top coat

    We will select the most appropriate top coat for your vehicle’s paintwork for a final protection.

    Upgrade to a ceramic coating for up to two years' additional protection (£100 supplement)

    Add additional coats of carnauba wax for a glossy, wet look (£50 supplement per coat)

  5. 5. Doors

    The door shuts will be waxed and sealed

  6. 6. Interior & exterior plastics and rubber

    We will clean, revive and protect all the internal and exterior plastics and rubber (including door seals) against UV rays (sunlight) which is usually evident from the natural fading that occurs

  7. 7. Wheel arches

    We dress the wheel arches to ensure a perfect finish

  8. 8. Glass

    We clean all the glass on the vehicle including the windows and mirrors using specific glass cleaner and then seal for added water sheeting in wet conditions

  9. 9. Alloy wheels

    The alloy wheels are treated with wheel sealant to minimise brake dust and tar re-bonding

    Upgrade to Gtechniq C5 wheel armour for additional and durable stain and contaminant resistance (£75 supplement including 3 hours for the removal of the wheels for complete coverage)

  10. 10. Tyres

    All tyres (including the spare if one is present) are dressed to give a natural ‘new’ look as well as protection against harmful UV rays

  11. 11. Hinges

    All door, boot, bonnet and internal hinges and locks are treated with a dry lubrication spray

  12. 12. Chrome & steel

    All chrome and stainless steel including exhaust tips will be polished and sealed

  13. 13. Tyre pressures

    Tyre pressures will be set to manufacturers' specification (or to your personal preference) and alloys torqued to the original specification

  14. 14. Final inspection

    Before collection the car is checked over and given a final wipe down with a high gloss detail spray (where applicable)

It’s important to note that the level of correction with the Enhancement Detail option won’t remove the deeper surface defects but the overall gloss, look and feel of the car will be greatly enhanced.

  1. 1. Interior

    The interior of the car – including boot and storage compartments – are vacuumed and sanitised to kill bacteria and germs; materials are cleaned and protected; leather is cleaned and conditioned and plastics, including the dashboard are restored to a non-greasy, matt factory finish

    The engine bay is steam-cleaned or washed (dependent on the application) and then dried and dressed for added protection

    Upgrade to a top coat ceramic coating for up to two years' additional protection
